Operating domestically, United Airlines ATL Terminal  is based out of Terminal North at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Check-in desks and luggage drop locations are located on Terminal North's top level for travelers flying with United. After checking in, passengers proceed through security and enter their gates at Concourses T and A, which are connected by the effective Plane Train system at the airport. Despite the lack of a designated lounge at ATL, United offers a number of food and shopping alternatives for its guests. It is advised to arrive at least two hours prior to departure in order to guarantee a seamless journey.
