One of the most unexpectedly simple airport experiences my family and I have ever had was flying with Alaska Airlines BOS Terminal. Even with two children, a stroller, and a ton of carry-on luggage, Terminal B was spotless, peaceful, and incredibly simple to use. There were many kiosks in the check-in area, and a helpful Alaska employee quickly stepped in to assist us with our stroller tag and address some of our seat-related inquiries. Additionally, the security check went more smoothly than anticipated; we were led to a family-friendly lane, which allowed us more room and time to arrange the children and luggage without the typical hassle. Once inside the terminal, we actually had a moment to breathe. There was enough seating for all of us to sit together, the walkways were wide, and everything felt clean and manageable. We grabbed snacks nearby—thankfully, there were plenty of kid-friendly food choices—and found a quiet spot by the windows where our little ones could watch the planes take off. The family restrooms were easy to find and spotless, which was a huge relief. While there wasn’t a play area, the open space and calm atmosphere made it feel less overwhelming for everyone. When it was time to board, the process was well-organized and not rushed. The gate agents were kind and offered us early boarding so we could get the kids settled, and even helped us find overhead bin space close by. It might not be the most luxurious setup, but it really checked the boxes that matter when you’re flying with kids—clean, simple, and supported by helpful staff. Logan Terminal Alaska Airlines gave us a peaceful, family-friendly start to our trip, and I’d definitely choose it again.
