Although there are always surprises when traveling with children, our trip through Orlando International Airport (MCO) with Southwest Airlines MCO Terminal went more smoothly than we had anticipated. We were immediately struck by how orderly, serene, and clearly marked everything was at Terminal A—especially useful when you're juggling two children, a stroller, and multiple suitcases. A friendly, comforting tone was established for the remainder of our trip when a Southwest employee smiled as she greeted us and promptly offered assistance with our bags. The check-in area was spacious and well-lit, and we easily navigated the self-serve kiosks, even with small hands attempting to "assist." Our stroller and car seat were handled with care and without any confusion, and staff members were available at every turn to answer questions and offer assistance when needed. We truly liked how family-friendly the terminal felt; spacious walkways, spotless family restrooms, and even places to sit that let us spread out made it feel less like a busy airport and more like a well-planned area.
