Job Title: React Native Developer – Education App Development

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented React Native Developer to join our team in building an innovative and user-friendly education app aimed at transforming the way students learn and educators teach. You'll play a key role in designing and developing a high-performance mobile application that delivers seamless educational content, interactive features, and real-time collaboration tools.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define, design, and ship new features

Optimize app performance for speed and efficiency across both iOS and Android platforms

Integrate third-party APIs and services (eg, video conferencing, push notifications, analytics)

Ensure the app follows best practices for scalability, usability, and accessibility in an educational context

Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation and unit tests

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile development and edtech


Requirements:

2+ years of experience in mobile app development using React Native

Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern front-end architecture

Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.)

Familiarity with mobile UI/UX design principles

Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services

Experience working with tools like Git, Firebase, Expo, and CI/CD pipelines

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills


Nice to Have:

Experience with edtech platforms or apps aimed at learning, tutoring, or assessment

Familiarity with accessibility standards and designing for diverse learners

Experience in publishing apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store

Knowledge of native modules and bridging in React Native

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
